The summer-autumn rice crop of a year is a chance for you to become a real Vietnamese farmer by partaking in rice harvesting activity with your rudimentary farming tools. You can see the sparkling yellow rice paddy fields as well as observe the farmers working hard but happily in their fields. Quickly take the last chance, the harvesting season only lasts from October to November, surely you will have unforgettable memories.
You will be picked up at your hotel and head towards handicraft forge village outside Hanoi to buy some traditional harvesting tools and learn about each tool???s utility.
Afterwards, we reach the immense paddy field where will become a real farmer by partaking in tour harvesting activity with your rudimentary farming tools. You will learn to harvest rice, carry sheaf of rice on your shoulders and bring them to the rice plucking machine so as to know how hard the farmers have to work to make rice.
Returning to the village and enjoying a cup of tea and traditional meal with typical Vietnam countryside???s dishes before transferring back to the hotel. Tour ends here.

Paddy fields in Hanoi suburb: Located in the suburb of Hanoi capital, the paddy fields are in harvest season, which offers a new experience for tourists (especially the foreign ones) to become a true Vietnamese farmer. You can see the charming sparkling yellow paddies and understand how hard the farmers are for earning their livings.

Our half-day Hanoi city tour during Vietnamese Mid-Autumn days (also called the Fullmoon Festival) is specially customized to introduce you the unique cultural values of one of the biggest festivals in Vietnam through its fascinating activities and experience. The tour brings you chance to wander along the colorful Hanoi streets as well as to know how the artisans work with diligence and cleverness to prepare for the festival.
You will be met at your hotel in Hanoi at 14:00. We will then transfer to an artisan???s house to discuss the traditional stories behind the star-shaped lanterns along with learning to make your own one as a souvenir for your beloved.
The next stop-off is one of the rare traditional mooncake bakeries, where you have chance to taste the steaming hot flavor of the traditional mooncake and understand the differences between traditional and modern mooncake making since the mooncake production has been industrialized and changed rapidly in recent years.
Afterwards, we will wander along Hanoi streets filled with sounds, colors and light preparing for Mid-Autumn Festival. Stop at a unique caf?? in Hanoi Old Quarter to enjoy the traditional Vietnamese mooncakes and watch the daily life of locals. Returning to the hotel and ending the tour.

Hanoi Old Quarter: Without Old Quarter, a maze of labyrinthine streets dated back to the 13th century, Hanoi would not be Hanoi. Strolling around Hanoi Old Quarter, one can perceive the beauty as well as typical feature of these streets.
Vong Ha Street: Vong Ha Street located one of the rare traditional Hanoi???s moon-cake bakeries - a well-known place for every Hanoian when the Mid-Autumn Festival comes. Though Hanoi is on the way of fast modernization, Hanoians always still keep up their hobby of enjoying traditional moon-cake.
