Siem Reap, Angkor Watt

Our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in the center of Siem Reap at around 5:00 and we will then transfer to Angkor Wat for starting our day trip by witnessing the sunrise. You will have an iconic travel experience while seeing the sun’s brazing red rays shining upon the top of the temples. Don’t forget to take for yourself some pictures to save the most wonderful moments of a spectacular sunrise at the Angkor Wat. Afterwards, we will get into the car and back to the hotel for a light breakfast and a short rest.
 
We will transfer back to Angkor temples at around 10:00 for a cycling tour passing through jungles to visit some typical temples of Angkor, including Preah Khan temple, which was built in 1191 by King Jayavarman VII in celebration for reconstructing the Khmer Empire after a period of fragmentation, as well as the Ta Prohm Temple - a gigantic monument built with the initial purpose of being the royal monastery.
 
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant with some delicious and unique local foods before you take a short lunch break to energize for your later afternoon bicycle tour. We will spend the whole afternoon discovering Angkor Thom - the ancient royal city of the Khmer Empire under the Jayavarman VII dynasty and Bayon Temple - the spectacular central temple of the ancient city of Angkor Thom.
 
Your cycling day tour continues with a visit to Terrace of Elephants, which was used by the King to celebrate military victories before you cycle back to the entrance gate to get into the car and back to the centre of Siem Reap.
 
Finally, you will enjoy a cultural dinner at a local restaurant with an awesome Apsara performance – a Khmer classical dance.
