Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the two biggest cities in Vietnam, have announced two hotlines to guarantee tourists, especially the foreign ones, from theft, fraud and overcharging when they are on trip to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. All the crimes are said to badly affect the tourist environment as well as to damage the image of Vietnam in general in foreigners’ eyes.

The center protecting foreign tourists in Vietnam is responsible for providing foreign tourists with Vietnam travel information and resolving some issues related to tourists’ rights. The center is set up to collect feedbacks from tourists and locals via telephone, email or Facebook, etc.
