For those who love to relax on tranquil and beautiful beaches on, a beach break to Bai Sao and Bai Dai (Star Beach and Long Beach) on the pearl island of Phu Quoc is an ideal choice. Tourists are recommended to visit the two beaches in Phu Quoc between October and March so as to avoid from rain, strong winds and high waves and to bring along with a tube of mosquito repellent to protect you from the little insects.  
Bai Sao (Star Beach)

Located toward the South of Phu Quoc Island and 25 kilometers far from Duong Dong Town, Bai Sao is stretching 7km with soft sand and pure green water.

On the first sight seeing the beach, an imaginative tourist may have a thought that God has poured tons of white powder or ice-cream instead of sand on Sao Beach so as to make it softer and softer. Besides relaxing on the beach, tourists are offered variety of entertainment activities on Bai Sao including jet-skiing, jet-boat (canoe) or snorkeling, etc.

Last but not least, the local seafood is a special gift that a beach break on Sao Beach presents you. You can taste the most delicious and fresh seafood such as coi bien mai (bien mai shellfish), ghe (small crab) and take a bowl of tau hu (sweet tofu with brown sugar cereal and ginger in Vietnamese style) – afterwards - from beach vendors in order to keep warm for the stomach.
