Endowed with spectacular landscape of limestone karst peaks permeated with valleys, some of which are submerged, and surrounded by steep, almost vertical cliffs, Trang An Complex has become the one of the Vietnam’s must-see attractions, which receive a lot of both foreign and domestic visitors.

Trang An is a beautiful landscape complex of the old citadel of Hoa Lu along with many temples, pagodas, paddy-field landscapes, rural villages and sacred sites. It treasures four best features, as follows:

1. To gain mixed natural and cultural heritage by UNESCO

Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex is praised to be the first site in Vietnam to gain UNESCO mixed natural and cultural heritage world recognition. As schedule, there will be three-day celebration to honor the event, including the award presentation ceremony, taking place on January 22-24 at Bai Dinh Pagoda, according to the Ninh Binh provincial People’s Committee.
