Then, a small boat is ready to take you along canals to visit its islands with some handicraft villages and the ancient house on two banks of Mekong River as well as enjoy ?????n ca tài t??? (Southern amateur music) show – one of the unique cultural values of this area. In the afternoon, you will move to Tan Phong Island and taste your lunch there.
After lunch, you continue floating on a sampan wandering small creeks among islands and enjoy fresh cool air, peaceful landscapes with many lush fresh fruit gardens along the banks. During this 1-hour boat trip, you will surely have nice photos and taste fresh fruit as much as you can then disembark to come back to Can Tho City.
Arrive in Can Tho, after checking-in your hotel, you will be free to explore city after dinner. Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 2: Can Tho – Cai Rang Floating Market (B/L/D)
The second day of this Mekong Delta tour will bring you the most interesting experience that you have never had before – trading on the river. You will get up early for breakfast, and then our guide will pick you up at your hotel and depart you to Ninh Kieu Wharf where you will embark on a sampan to visit Cai Rang floating market.
Let the bustling atmosphere, the vast of fruit, the sounds of rowing boats and trading activities, and the traffic on the river show you how interesting Cai Rang floating market is. Especially, you can also join these trading activities by buying some kinds of fresh fruits, and you can select and bargain whatever you want like a real local person. After that, the sampan will take you along small creeks to visit large lush fruit gardens.
At noon, you will return to the wharf and lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Can Tho.
In the afternoon, our guide will lead you to a local house in Can Tho. Come there, you will have a chance to become a real farmer by joining the locals’ daily activities including going through monkey bridges, catching crabs and fish, picking coconuts,… Or if you want to, you can take a bike and freely discover the surroundings and talk with locals to learn more about their culture. Then you will taste your dinner with traditional dishes in the local family. Additionally, if the weather is fine, you can take a chance to watch fireflies at night.

Day 3: Can Tho – Chau Doc (B/L/D)
Following to breakfast, you will visit Chau Doc after 3-hour drive and spend all your day discovering this beautiful and friendly commune. Firstly, you will have a boat trip floating along villages of Cham people on two river banks and learn more about their traditional silk weaving. Next, you will continue moving to Chau Giang to visit the biggest mosque of the Cham community. In the afternoon, your next stops are a Khmer’s temple, a floating fish farm and Sam Mountain respectively. Prepare your camera to catch the sunset moment from this mountain’s peak.
Spend your night at a local hotel Chau Doc.
Day 4: Chau Doc – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)
On the last day of this Mekong Delta tour, you are totally free for visiting and discovering the Chau Doc market after having breakfast. Don’t forget to buy some souvenirs for your beloved or you can talk with locals to learn more about the local culture in particular and Vietnamese culture in general.
Goodbye Chau Doc, you will stay on an 6-hour drive to come back Ho Chi Minh City. This tour will come to an end in the late afternoon in Ho Chi Minh City.
