Ta Phin Village, Sapa Town

Night 1: Hanoi - night train to Lao Cai 

In the evening, you’ll take a taxi to the station and will be on a night train with soft sleeper (deluxe cabin), share the cabin with 2 other people and you'll get one top bed and one bottom bed. You’ll have to be at the station 1 hour before departure time. Our tour guide will pick you up at the hotel and take you by taxi to Tran Quy Cap Station where the trains go to Lao Cai (for Sapa trip). Overnight on the train.

Day 1: Lao Cai - Trung Chai – Ta Phin Village (B/L/D)

You'll be arriving in Lao Cai station very early in the morning (around 4:30 or 5am). Our local tour guide will be waiting for you at the entrance and on tour with you. After breakfast and freshening up at one of the local restaurants, you’ll take a transfer to Trung Chai, our starting point for the trek. A fairly easy about 4 hour trek (with  picnic lunch on the way) will bring you to Ta Phin a village of the Red Dao. After a look around the village and local area and perhaps partaking in a herbal bath for which the Red Dao are famous for, you can enjoy a dinner with some Red Dao specialties. Overnight at homestay.

Day 2: Ta Phin Village – Sapa Town - Express Bus to Hanoi (B/L)

The day starts early, and it is likely you will wake with the rest of the family to the sounds of roosters and pigs. After breakfast you will start our morning's trek to Sapa town, a fairly easy uphill 3 hour trek. Arriving in Sapa Town, you’ll be free in the afternoon to wonder around the town and spend time for shopping  before taking the express Bus back to Hanoi. The Hiking tour ends at your hotel in Hanoi around 09:00 PM. See you next time.
