Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Arrival 

Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, our guide will welcome you at Tan Son Nhat Airport and transfer you to your hotel in the city center. After a short break, you will discover the historical and cultural values hidden in famous destinations such as Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum and Notre Dame Cathedral.

In the evening, you will be picked up again at your hotel. After that, we will take part in a mini-trip to Saigon downtown. A welcome dinner will be served in the floating restaurant on Saigon River. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh - Cai Be (B/L/D/Local guide on boat)

On the second day, our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City at 8.00 and depart for Tien Giang Province. Reaching Cai Be at around noon, you will board on a comfortable wooden boat for short rest, welcome drink and check-in your cabin. You are then free to relax in your own cabin. Lunch will be served with traditional Vietnamese dishes.

In the afternoon, you will be guided to visit the luxuriant orchards and the rice fields as well as to observe the local people’s life. You will have chances to visit local’s houses and talk to local people and then come back to the boat for relaxation, witnessing the charming sunset, enjoying soft drinks on the deck,  and take some nice photos. The boat will anchor for the night. The day ends with a delicious on-board dinner.

Your first day tour will stop with traditional delicious dinner.

Day 3: Cai Be - Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh (Brunch/Local guide on boat)

The typical sounds of the river will wake you up in the early morning and bring you a chance to catch the spectacular sunrise in Mekong Delta. Another exciting day of sightseeing is waiting for your exploration.

After breakfast, we will take a sampan to Cai Rang Floating Market. The colorful floating market, vast emerald rice fields and lush back waterways make Cai Rang become such a desired destination. A lot of exotic fruits, vegetables and skillfully handcrafted regional products will make you marveled. Next, we will pull up to the boats for talking and bargaining with the merchants. We will also visit some of the local candy and cake making factories or boat through the green water landscape to see local houses, verdant orchards and ship-building yards.

The boat trip ends at around 11:00 - 11:30 on the pier. After brunch, we will take you back to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City – Da Nang - Hoi An (B) 

Leaving your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City after breakfast; you will take flight around noon to Da Nang. Upon arrival at Da Nang airport, you will be greeted by our local guide and drive to Hoi An – an ancient town which is about 35km away.

After check in and lunch, you will start the afternoon tour by walking around this coastal ancient town, the town with mixed architectures of Vietnam/Chinese/Japanese with Chinese tiled houses, Chinese temples, the 400-year old Japanese Covered Bridge, the Fujian (Phuc Kien) Assembly Halls, the local fish market…

Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 5: Hoi An - Tra Nhieu Village - Kim Bong Carpentry Village (B/L)

At around 8:00, our guide will pick you up at your hotel and take you to Thu Bon pier and start a boat trip along Thu Bon River.
During your boat trip, you will have chance to enjoy the fresh air and pass the peaceful villages on the two banks as well as experience daily life of hard-working locals. Stopping at Tra Nhieu Fishing Village, you will take a soft walk to visit traditional handicraft such as farming, fishing, poultry and livestock breeding, mattress making,…

After lunch, you’ll continue the boat trip along Thu Bon River to visit Kim Bong Carpentry Village where you will learn more about one of the Vietnam traditional products. Moreover, you will meet local people who are keeping traditional craftsmanship alive and can buy some handmade products as beautiful gifts.

Goodbye these peaceful villages, we return to Hoian downtown by boat and end this day trip at your hotel at around 16:30.

Day 6: Hoi An - Hue (B)

This day, you’ll visit the Ex-capital of Vietnam – Hue City. On the way from Hoi An to Hue passing through the My Khe Beach, you will stop to visit Cham museum, the spectacular Hai Van Pass and Lang Co beach panorama view, by noon you will arrive in Hue city in where everything seems to be gentle thanks to this ancient and tranquil city.

Upon arrival in Hue, you will visit Dong Ba market for lunch (not included) with variety of local foods.

In the afternoon, you'll visit the uniqueImperial Citadel, Royal Arena where Tiger and Elephant fights were held by the Kings of the Nguyen Dynasty. Then, you will take glimpses along the green banks of Huong River (Perfume River), on a floating boat head to visit Thien Mu Pagoda where you will listen to its interesting historical stories and enjoy the photo time.

On the way back to Hue city, don’t forget your camera to catch the sunset moment on Huong River and enjoy the fresh air on this romantic river.

Day 7: Hue City - Hanoi (B, L)

Today, our guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hue city at around 8:30 and then we head to Phuoc Tich Pottery Village. Arriving at Phuoc Tich, we will first take a walk along the village to visit the old houses and some historical sites of the village. After that, we will enjoy the boat trip on O Lau River before having lunch and a short rest at an ancient house.After lunch break, we will continue the visit to portery exhibition house and experience the local way of making ceramic products. Don't forget to bring your camera for nice photo shots during this trip!

Back to hotel for checking out then we will take you to the Hue airport to fly to Hanoi. 

In Noi Bai international airport, our guide and driver will wait you at the airport for taking you to the hotel in Old Quater for relaxing.

Day 8: Hanoi (B)

In the morning, our guide will pickup you at the hotel for exploring the Old Quarter. You will join our Hanoi city tour to visit some popular attractions such as the Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple & Old quarter streets and enjoy our traditional cultural Water Puppet show.

 Day 9: Hanoi - Hoa Lu - Tam Coc - Hanoi (B)

On the next destinationa of this Vietnam River and Beach tour, you will have chance to visit the Vietnam’s former capital Hoa Lu (Ninh Binh Province) wherethe Ngo Dong river is running through. The day starts from Hanoi at around 8:00 at your hotel in Hanoi and you will reach Ninh Binh after a two-hour drive.

After the former capital Hoa Lu, you will go to Tam Coc tourist center for lunch then have a short break.

In the afternoon, you will get on a small rowing boat to travel along the Ngo Dong River throughgreen fields and natural beauty with limestone peaks. to visit Tam Coc (Three Caves). You will then disembark and take a short bike to Bich Dong Cave – the Vietnam second most beautiful cave. Don’t miss climbing up the Ngu Hanh Son Mountain (Buddha palm), enjoy the free feeling when behold the marvelous scenery offered by the mountains, rivers and pagodas.

In the late afternoon, you will return to Ha Noi at around 17:30pm.

 Day 10: Hanoi - Ha Long (B/L/D) 

To experience the tranquil Hanoi, you are suggested to wake up early for enjoying Hanoi morning sounds, walking around Hoan Kiem Lake and doing Tai Chi exercise with locals. Your Halong trip will be started after you come back to hotel for freshen up and breakfast.

After breakfast, you’ll take a 3.5-hour-drive to Halong Bay, one of the great natural of the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Upon arrival, the boat crew will welcome you and transfer you to the junk for check-in and enjoy a cruise around Halong Bay with a delicious local seafood lunch served on board. At the same time, you can behold thousands of limestone islands and grottoes rising from the clear, emerald water.

 After lunch you’ll join some activities on boat to discover the beauty of the bay such as visit a cave, doing kayaking or enjoy swimming in the sea before getting back to the junk for relaxing and dinner. In the evening, you can join night fishing with locals. Overnight on board.

 Day 11: Halong - Hanoi (Brunch) 

In the morning, your breakfast will be served while floating on the sea to explore the beauty of Halong Bay before disembarking time. Joining some more activities on boat and then you’ll check out and get back to the harbor.

On the way returning to Hanoi, we will stop in Bac Ninh for visiting Phu Lang Pottery Village located by the bank of Cau River. The visit will bring you chance to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of ancient village and learn more about local activities at a handmade pottery. Buy something there for gifts if you want.

Drive back to Hanoi and overnight in Hotel.

Day 12: Hanoi - Departure (B)        

Before leaving for departure home, you are totally free for shopping, relax with your own activities. Our Vietnam River and Beach ends here.
