Hanoi’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will organize the “Hanoi and Red River Delta Traditional craft village tourism festival” with the theme “The convergence of Red River specialized traditional craft villages” from 9th to 12th October at the Palace of Sports Apparel Horse in Ba Dinh Dist., Hanoi. This is an important event of the National Tourism Year and to welcome the 59th anniversary Hanoi’s Liberation Day.
 
According to the Organizing Board, the festival will be organized on a large scale with 5 areas for villages’ exhibition, tourism enterprises, airlines, cuisine and art cultural programs. The opening ceremony will take place at 9 a.m on October 9th.
Hanoi has planned to develop six traditional craft villages into tourist destinations to attract domestic and international tourists.
