Cua Van voted among 10 beautiful coastlines
The prestigious Travel & Leisure Magazine has recently announced the
World’s top 10 most breathtaking coastlines, including the
Cua Van fishing village in the Northern Province of
Quang Ninh.
Located 20 km away from the tourist boat wharf, the wild and charming Cua Van fishing village lies in a calm bay surrounded by mountain. Cua Van is said to be the biggest of the four floating villages in Halong. It is famous not only for the magnificent limestone mountains of Halong Bay, but also for the peaceful life of nearly 200 households who are living on floating boats. Visitors coming to Cua Van Village will surely be allured by the beautiful fishing village images – little houses on boats, groups of boats tied together to defend against storms and typhoons, the simple and honest fishermen and the sun-burnt faces of the innocent little children. What a peaceful and charming life that you should never miss when traveling to Halong Bay. |
