Ho Chi Minh City prepares pedestrian streets for Tet

As usual, Nguyen Hue Flower Street on the Vietnamese Tet Lunar New Year will feature a heard of giant horses made of flowers to welcome the lunar year of the horse. Different kinds of flowers from Da Lat and around Vietnam will be gathered to create large scale decorations featuring Vietnamese culture, heritage and history. Furthermore, LED Lights will also be used to decorate the streets.

28th January to 6am on 4th February, the cars’ circulation on Nguyen Hue from Le Loi – Ton Duc Thang direction will be halted for the arrangement of Nguyen Hue Flower Street from 7am to 6pm on 18th January, 2014.

Mr Tran Hung Viet, General Director of Saigontourist said that along with Nguyen Hue Street, the streets of Pasteur and Dong Khoi will be turned into pedestrian walking areas in the opening (5-10pm January 28th) and closing ceremonies (6am February 3).
 

It’s great chance for those who travel to the Southern city of Vietnam to have memorable photos and moments in the beautiful flower street of Nguyen Hue when the Lunar Vietnamese Tet Holidays is coming.
