As usual, the
Huong Pagoda Festival officially takes place in My Duc District (Hanoi) on February 5th or 6th of the Lunar New Year. The
festival is predicted to see the attendance of more than 50,000 pilgrims.
A spiritual journey to the Buddhist Land of Huong Pagoda will lead you to a religious life. During a trip from Hanoi, visitors will have chance to sightsee the pagodas, temples and caves as well as to ask favors from Lord Buddha. Located about 60km from the downtown of Hanoi, Huong Pagoda was constructed in the late 17th century with a large number of pagodas, temples and caverns, which allure every visitor for its marvelous stalactites and stalagmites. The well-known Huong Tich cavern has been praised as the most beautiful cave in the S-shape country. According the board of management, there've been nearly 180,000 tourists flocking to Huong Pagoda over the past four days. |
