One of the travel agencies in Hoi An, a local Vietnamese fishing family-run business, has recently set up a new attractive tour, which offers chance for foreign visitors to get better understanding of the province Quang Nam's Ba Trao dancing and traditional local folk song singing. The first tour saw the participation of eight travelers who come from Australia, the UK, and Canada.

First foreign visitors experience new Hoi An Eco-tour

Joining the tour, eight travelers wore traditional costumes of local fishermen in order to participate in the incense ceremony and worshiped the God of Nam Hai (God of Sea). After that, they began their fishing trip. Particularly, during the tour, the travelers were taught to sing Ba Trao song by Vietnamese artisan Nguyen Chin.
 
This kind of tour is expected to bring foreign visitors an interesting experience on a special culture of coastal residents, as well as to provide them a great opportunity to act  like real fishermen.
