North-West’s Spring Festival to come in Lao Cai Province
The
mountain festival, named “North-West’s Spring”, will be organized by Viettel Military-run Telecom Group in cooperation with Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs and People’s Committee of Lao Cai from 5th to 6th April in
Sapa Town, Lao Cai Province. The festival is aiming to commemorate 1 year of launching Viettel’s products for ethnic minority people.
![]() Ethnic market is considered as the spiritual specialty of mountainous area The North-West’s Spring Festival is highlighted by an opening ceremony held at 8:00am on 5th April in the Central Court of Sa Pa Town. The ceremony will see the participation of 6 troupes and famous singers from Northern areas as well as throughout Vietnam. In addition, variety of ebullient cultural and art activities featuring the highland spring festivals will be carried out during the ceremony. The spring festival offers both local ethnic minorities and visitors not only time to live in specific space of North-West region with unique markets, performances of ethnic minority costumes, folk games as well as to enjoy the culinary culture of the region, but great opportunity to experience free products and services of Viettel and participate in many quiz games, etc. as well. Absolutely, “North-West’s Spring” Festival helps the ethnic minority people living in the mountainous area of Lao Cai to exchange and introduce their unique traditional beauties and also for domestic and contributes to introduce the special cultural values of the ethnic minority groups to domestic and international visitors. Lao Cai is now trying best to carefully prepare before the Festival with the hope that the North-West’s Spring Festival will be the cultural Rendezvous for visitors traveling to Sapa in April. |
