Vietnam is well-known to every foreign tourists as a country of spectacular natural landscape, friendly and hospitable local people along with Vietnamese long-standing culture. Also, tourists have praised it as a safe country for tourism. The affirmation was recently emphasized at the meeting on May 16th, 2014 between a tourist group of Beijing Mega International Tourism Co., Ltd – Shanghai Branch, Travel Department – Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) and Vietnam Tourism Association (TITC), after a trip in Vietnam of a Chinese group through Hanoi, Halong Bay and Ho Chi Minh City.

The meeting saw the attendance of Mr. Nguyen Quy Phuong, director of Travel Department, Mr. Vu The Binh, vice chairman of Vietnam Tourism Association and chairman of Vietnam Society of Travel Agents, along with representatives of some.

At the meeting, Mr. Vu The Binh affirmed that Vietnam was always an attractive, safe and friendly destination for foreign tourists. “Vietnamese people love peace. For some confusions related to East Sea problem in the recent times, Vietnam will deal with resolutely to ensure enterprises’ interest. Viet Nam also ensures security for international tourists including Chinese tourists”, he also added. After all, he desired that Chinese tourists would introduce their relatives and friends a small but beautiful country of Vietnam as well as friendly and hospitable Vietnamese people after their tour in Vietnam. In addition, the Director of Travel Department assured that Vietnam tourism would be giving top priorities for tourists’ security and strengthening the quality of tourism service.

On behalf of Chinese tourist group traveling to Vietnam, Mr. Vu Van Nghiep Thuan expressed his deep gratitude to Travel Department and Vietnam Society of Travel Agents for warm and hospitable welcome. Furthermore, he strongly confirmed “Vietnam is a beautiful, safe and friendly country. Vietnamese people are hospitable, tourist guide is enthusiasm and considerate. I hope traditional relation between Vietnam and China is better. I will come back Vietnam. After this visit, I will share information about Vietnam to my relatives and friends”.
