The British magazine Rough Guides has recently released the list of top 25 amazing experiences throughout the world, which includes
Vietnam street food (ranked 9th) and Hoi An Full-moon Festival (ranked 25th).
As you know, Vietnam has been famous for street cuisine and it is dubbed as the paradise of street food in the world. Street cuisine is a style of enjoying fast foods (hamburgers; bread with hot dog, pate; grilled meat; steamed sticky rice, boiled corn, sweet and sour salad, rice noodles, Quang noodles, lemonade, coffee…) in public places of some major tourist city like Hanoi, Hoi An, Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh City, ... As serving in streets, street cuisine is quickly processed and sold at reasonable and even cheap price. Many of foreign visitors to Vietnam are impressed by the image of street vendors selling all kinds of foods and drinks which featured Vietnamese cuisine flavor. Additionally, the sweet voice or tape of sellers inviting buyers also impressive to tourist. Regarding Vietnam street cuisine, it's a miss if not mentioning the street food of Hanoi. Hanoi is well-known for many kinds of street foods, which may give special impression to tourists, especially the foreign one.
